The landscapes hold the qualities of many a computer game, vast, dramatic and varied. Seemingly within the same location you see both snowy peaks and expansive deserts. Panning around the mountain we become aware of the timelessness of the work because of the many different architectural forms. Further enhancing this unhinged feeling is the incorporation of Ferris wheels and merry-go-rounds. The stage has been set for child’s play. The actors are children who break down the barriers of age through their sinister and adult behaviors. A loss of innocence suggested as the children have been sold to the clothing companies, weapons manufacturers, shoe factories. The military industrial complex is collapsing in the Last Riot while the children of the world have adopted the most fundamental characteristics of modern industrial civilisation. Power and desire.
