THE MOUSE PADS

There will be four mouse pads accompanying the four monitors on the rear wall of the installation. These mouse pads represent both the vehicle for our online interactions and the absurdity of these interactions as being a replacement for life. I have used imagery from second life combined with 'life quotes' found on the internet. My intention is to highlight the irony of an attempt to fulfill a life through the embodiment of another, virtual form.
